Why Us?
In our ten-week course, our students will become competent in the following courses: OSHA Safety & Universal Infection Control, X-ray & Radiation Safety, Dental Terminology, Tooth Morphology, Dental Ordering/Stocking, Professionalism, Dental Commercial Insurance Protocol, Dental Medicaid Protocol, Sealants and Coronal Polishing. A few times a week students will have a hands-on experience working and training in a dental clinical setting with the instructor and patients. Upon completion of the dental assisting program our students will have credentials and knowledge needed to be an effective professional dental assistant.
Students are also able to remain at our practice for a 30-hour internship while they participate in the program after they finish course hours. Students will learn to use and operate state-of-the-art machines to make Digital Impressions, Digital X-Rays, Digital Photography, Digital Charting and how to apply skills achieved from the completed course curriculum. These additional benefits are all included in the full course of Dental Assisting Program tuition.
